ASSIGNMENT 7 - My Hometown

..........I am from Kang-hwa, a historic county on the west side of Korea. near North Korea. Kang-hwa was originally an island but it became a mainland after the Kang-hwa bridge was built. Kang-hwa has many historic places. For example, it is famous of the woven mats with flower patterns(People call it 'Hwa Moon Seock'), ginseng, dolmens, Mt. Mani and legend of Dangun, the founding father of Korea. Kang-hwa has been a point of strategic importance since the age of the Three States in the 4 century. Kang-hwa is also famous for two hardy-orange trees which were designated precious natural treasure. Kang-hwa is a very silent county but the old battlefield and Mt. Mani are crowded with many tourists sometimes. In summer, the Dongmak beach is also crowded and people like here. I love my hometown so please come and visit sometime!

ASSIGNMENT 7 - A Cramped Room

..........My bed room is medium and cramped. There are so many things. Originally, my bed room consisted of two spaces ; one bed room and one veranda but, my parents make two places one big place. Anyway, there is a piano beside a makeup desk. Also, there are a big bed and a big bookcase. This bookcase is overcrowded with books. Actually, there are also 2 or 3 books on my bed, desk and piano chair. My bed room has a closet beside a bed but it is small so, I put on another clothes rack on the wall. There are also many clothes in it. In addition, because there is very narrow space between a closet and a bed, I have never open the closet door completely. In front of a bookcase, there is a desk and it's not clean and there are many things like CDs, CD player, mp3, many books and so forth on it. Nevertheless, one good thing is that there is a big window so, my room is always so bright. But, I want bigger space!

My Friend's Character

My friend is very attractive person. She is cute and talented. For example, She can speak Japanese with her cute voice and her cute facial expressins and She can play the ocarina well. She is also clever. Whatever she learn , she learn it quickly. Finally, She is witty. Her wisdoms sometimes helps me. As you can see, she has many attractiveness.

ASSIGNMENT 6 - My Character

I am very adventurous person. I like to try to do new thing. For example, I was a 'SSIREUM-Korea wrestling- player' 3 times when I was a middle school student. I always got prizes. Next, I challenge flying small hang glider and I composed poems many times at big or small meeting. Finally, I got the 12th prize of the poem. When I was a college student I took part in Pop-song Festival, and then I got the 4th prize. What is important is not the outcome of the game but adventure. I also tried to get my driver's license and now I have it. First of all, my best successful challenge is that I became a flight attendant for Asiana Airlines. As you can see, I love adventure and I'll be adventurer again and again.

ASSIGNMENT 5 - My typical day

During the month, my days are very interesting depend on my flight schedule. My working pattern is really good. I get a day-off after I work for two or three days or four days. I rarely have two days off or I am off after I work one day. I usually work 6 hours in aircraft. I wake up 3hours ago before I get to work. If my arriving time at work is 7 o'clock, I get up at 4. I am irregular in attendance so my wake-up time is also sometimes irregular. After I wake up , I put on makeup and hairdo and I have a meal but I often skip it. I get to work by bus and I sing-in my show-up time using computers then I have my flight information. Finally I fly with that day members. After that I come home, take a shower and eat some food. Next, I fall asleep. As you can see, I have irregular daily but I have very interesting daily.

ASSIGNMENT 4 - Keep fit

I do several things to try to stay healthy. I don't smoke cigarettes ever and I don't drink alcohol. As you know, smoking and drinking is harmful to our bodies. I also don't stay all night long and I sleep enough because these are good for keeping my skin healthy. I like to eat fast food so I try to control myself. I rarely climb mountains and I don't exercise often. Actually I don't so many things to keep fit. In conclusion, I just lead regular life without unhealthy food and with enough rest time.

My Hobby

When I have free time, I like to do several things. I like to play the piano. I also like cooking so, sometimes I cook new cooking because I want to make new taste. Another thing I enjoy drawing but I have only one completed portrait because I don't like to 'COMPLETE', but I like to 'DO'. As you can see, without my hobbies, I would die.

MY WONDERFUL DAY!

I had a wonderful day. I had one ferry-fight(flight with no passenger) in the cockpit! I could control heading of aircraft. Wow~ They were so beautiful. Have you ever seen sea of cloud through the cockpit window? Really fantastic! I will never forget it! I am thinking of the view from the cockpit right now. ASSIGNMENT 3 - My best Friend.

My friend's name is Yoon-hee, Choi, but I call her 'Natsuki'. She is 23 years old. She is single and she has not a boyfriend. She lives in Incheon. I can get to her home by bus. She is an uni-student. She likes to read books about philosophy. She also likes to listen to the J-pop music and she speaks Japanese very well. She is a churchgoer as same as I am. I envy her strong faith in God, so I always ask her advice about it. She is my best friend; good listener, good adviser and she is warm and very kind. I'll walk with her forever!

My Family

I have a small family. There are 4 members; father, mother, younger brother, and me. My father's name is On-su, Yoo. He is 53 years old and he build buildings. He looks sharp and is good-looking. In addition, he is in the 4 month of pregnancy. Hahaha. You know what I mean. My mother is Chun-hee, Park. She is 43 years old and a parking attendant. Actually, She works in fare adjustment window at Incheon national airport. I don't know her job's name in English. I take after her. I have 1 brother. His name is Kyee-hee, Yoo and he is 21. He works for Korean air at Incheon airport. He will quit his job at the end of this month because of the duty of national defense as an army. I love my family!

ASSIGNMENT 2 - My classmate

Let me introduce my classmate. Her name is Ellen, and her Korean name is Gun Jung, Lee. She wears glasses. She has clear skin and she is pretty. She is single. She is from Daegu. Daegu is her hometown. Now she is living with her family in Seoul, in Kayang-dong which is near by Balsan station . She is an only child. She moved to Seoul 4 years ago. She works for Asiana Airlines in the International Reservation Department. She originally worked at Daegu airport until she was transferred to Kimpo airport because the establishment of KTX. She likes to listen to music and climb mountains. Also, she likes every season except winter because of an allergy to the cold. Her favorite singer is Andrea Bocelli. She is impressed whenever she hears that music. She visited Fukuoka with her mother on August this year. She went to a hot spring and then she looked around at some places, suck as Yoohuin. She said the hot spring was good but visiting Yoohuin, a quiet village, was only so so. I'm lucky to meet her. She is very kind.

ASSIGNMENT 1 - Introduce Myself.

My name is So-jin Yoo. I'm 22 years old(I was born in 1987). I'm living in Incheon in my whole life. I live with my family, father, mother and younger brother. And my blood type is 'O'. I am a flight attendant in Asiana Airlines,here. I got this job on April, this year. My position now is an Intern. I do like this job. Because I can stay at hotels in other cities. I love reading books. So, I always carry a book and try to read it in a week. My favorite genre of books is the science fiction because it is really interesting. I Have a special habit. Maybe if someone hear about my habit, then she or he would think 'it's strange'. My special habit is Doing something at any free time.
I've already done many things. I have a mini furniture to keep many CDs that I made. I have outer socks that I knitted. I have a few portraits that I drew. I did many things more than these. My hobby is playing the piano. I love it. Sometimes, I compose simple music. But, this one is not good to hear you. The last thing is that I love English very mush. Here, I have one dangerous thing.
